Afternoon Tea Scones

450gr Self Raising Flour
4 tsp baking powder
100gr softened butter
50gr caster sugar
2eggs
milk
optional -100gr raspberries/blueberries/cranberries-

Rub together the butter, flour and baking powder with your fingertips until it resembles a sandy texture then stir in the sugar.
Add eggs one by one then enough milk for the dough to come together but not become sticky.
Form a dough then flatten out to a couple of centimetres thick.
Coat with some egg.
Bake in an oven at 220c' until golden brown ontop.
